The Cream
Super Rock grupa "Cream", osnovana je 1960 godine u Engleskoj.. Osnovali su je Jack Bruce, basista i vokal, Eric Clapton gitarist i pjevač, i Ginger baker, bubnjar. Isprva im je stil bio tzv. hibrid blues rock, hard rock, dok su kasnije prevladali psihodelični tonovi., sa isto takvim tekstualnim sadržajima.. Grupa izdaje album pod nazivom Wheels of Fire, koji je prvi u povijesti rock glazbe postao platinast po prodaji dvostrukog oblika.
U karijeri su prodali preko 15 milijuna albuma.. Njihova glazba se bazira na tradicionalnom blues sadržaju ("Crossroads" i Spoonful"), te na modernom bluesu poput "Born Under a Bad Sign". Njihov najveći hitovi bili su "I Feel Free", "Sunshine of Your Love", "White Room", "Crossroads"
Njihov stil glazbe kasnije je utjecao na mnoge velike i poznate sastave (Jimi Hendrix, and Terry Kath of Chicago,te Jimi Hendrix, and Terry Kath of Chicago. Uvršteni su na listu Jimi Hendrix, and Terry Kath of Chicago,1993 godine, te na Rolling S tone listu popularnosti pod brojem 15. na listi najvećih glazbenih umjetnuika svih vremena ("100 Greatest Artists of All Time".) na broj 11
